Hi Bloggers....Just noted that the "song of the day" is Black Day in July.....My wife and our son and his girlfriend went to the NAC Sat night to see Gordon Lightfoot and were very disappointed in the concert...While I understand that he has had issues with his health we found the sound very low, I think this was to hide how bad some of his notes were...While I enjoyed some of the songs we were very disappointed he didn't sing "Black Day In July" ... I wonder if that is why K-Rock choose it today ???? Sorry to vent put when you spend almost $350.00 I expected more and we were only 9 rows from the front...Others in the audience complained also about the sound.....

I went to a Bif Naked concert, I was at the front of the moshpit at the stage, and she sang a song called tango shoes and kept stepping on my hands, and if I looked up all I could see were these bright red panties. I wonder if the stomping on my hands was some sort of foreplay. The sound was great though.

Glad that you had a great show when you went...I don't seem to ynderstand how the Ottawa Citizen can give it a great rating when we and many others had complaints....I know that he is an "legend" etc but I think that they shouldn't butter up his concerts..He was geat at one time but not Saturday,s concert...
