Everyone thanks for all the postings yesterday! I only got 4 or5 in as I was in school all day. I did hear Holy's name over the radio, something about already sitting in his basement in his new chair. Congrats. I was going to stop in for the mystery word, but didn't know where the store was.
Later

I totally agree - you bet me to the comment. I tried to put the 8 oclock one in at 9:15 and it said no longer available also. Whats up with that? Did they change the rules and forget to tell all of us. bah humbug
9 AM song was at 8:58, Leave, and worked just fine:-)
Cheers!
I love the Blues. I really enjoy this 9:00 o'clock slot Sunday mornings.
I don't think its too often that I miss it. For the Blues lovers out there, its too bad we don't hear more on the radio.
That's not a shot at KROCK, it just not played a whole lot anywhere. You hear SVR , David Wilcox and other Blues influenced bands but that's about it
I wish they would still have the Sunday trivia on even though they are doing a points weekend.
They could always do it without points. I just enjoy listening to it.

1 o'clock hip song is "useitup"
While the Guess Who did have several hits in America, they were superstars in their home country of Canada during the 1960s and early '70s.
The roots of the Guess Who can be traced back to the late 1950s, when singer,(Allan Kowbell)led the group as "The Silvertones". The band played local gigs in and around the Winnipeg area and after a series of personnel changes, the band consisted of Kowbell, guitarist Randy Bachman, drummer Garry Peterson, bassist Jim Kale and keyboard player Bob Ashley.
Heavily influenced by British records, the boys wanted to take on a more 'English sounding name'. Emulating one of their favourites, 'The Shadows', they settled on 'The Reflections'. Kowbell, as the front man and lead singer, also felt the need to change his name. As a long time fan of 'The Chad Mitchell Trio', he stuck 'Chad' in front of his real first name, and the band became 'Chad Allan and The Reflections'.
Before or after he changed his name?
Not The same anonymous

2nd question - Who was the first manager of The Rolling Stones?

question 2
Name the first manager of the Rolling Stones.
Answer to Question 2 - Andrew Loog
I thought Giorgio Gomelsky was the first manager?? maybe not, off to Wikipedia...
@Veggiemom
Glad to see you back!!!
@Veggiemom
Tha's where I got the answer. They say Giorgio G never had a signed contract with the Stones
@ i've been posting as anon still, that guy freaked me out last weekend. can you imagine being the guy who didn't sign a contract with THE STONES????
The Rolling Stones thereafter commandeered an eight-month residency at the Crawdaddy Club, where they attracted a following of fans and fellow musicians. By that time, the group’s final lineup had been set, with founding members Jagger, Richards and Jones augmented by drummer Charlie Watts (a Blues Incorporated alumnus) and bassist Bill Wyman. They also took on a young manager-producer, Andrew Loog Oldham, who saw in the Stones a chance to exploit “the opposite to what the Beatles are doing
Like I always said, wikipedia is written by normal joe shmoes and are not 100% correct. It is up to the reader to believe what they want to hear, not always what is right.

Tune On
Tune In
The next 2 words are the bonus code..
Had to Google it way befor emy time, I wasn't even born yet!!!
Leary later explained in his 1983 autobiography Flashbacks:
"'Turn on' meant go within to activate your neural and genetic equipment. Become sensitive to the many and various levels of consciousness and the specific triggers that engage them. Drugs were one way to accomplish this end. 'Tune in' meant interact harmoniously with the world around you - externalize, materialize, express your new internal perspectives. Drop out suggested an elective, selective, graceful process of detachment from involuntary or unconscious commitments. 'Drop Out' meant self-reliance, a discovery of one's singularity, a commitment to mobility, choice, and change. Unhappily my explanations of this sequence of personal development were often misinterpreted to mean 'Get stoned and abandon all constructive activity.'"

ItsAGoodLifeIfYouDontWeaken
It's really hard doing this without spaces and punctuation
i know,lol
the easiest way to find a song you don't know is this
leave a google window open with tragically hip lyrics in the search box
when the song comes on listen for a run of three or four words from it then add it at the end, hit search and bingo, you have the song
This has to do with the Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club.
Who co-starred with the Bee Gees in that movie?
peter frampton
are they stopping the codes for the Super Bowl?

@Mr.ABC,
Right you were, just put in Fireworks and it worked.
I just purchased 99 more entries into that raffle for front row seats. It would be a miracle if I won.
I'm spending all my points on it though, it's the sole reason I'm collecting them.

did anyone catch the 10pm song?....they aren't listing it in with all the others played around that time
They just played Chagrin Falls but its not accwpting it
Emperor Penguin
Is Emepror Penguin the 10 pm song?
emperorpenguin
Is that the 10pm song? If so what's the 11pm song? Still lookin for 10 and 11.
@anonymous
yes it is. 10pm - emperorpenguin
Still looking for 11pm then because Chagrin Falls won't work.
I've tried
chagrinfalls
chagrin falls
chagrin
None of them work but it is definitely the song they played and said to enter it.
I've tried all of those as well, and any other variations, and none are working.
I even tried
falls
doesn't work either :(
I've tried every possible spelling error for the song and even typed in every song be the Hip in case they played the wrong song but nothing
Oh well, computer error I guess.
Have a good night all, thanks to all who contributed to getting all the codes today! :)
